God's Plan for a Thriving Marriage

This seminar is "step 3" of the marriage preparation process.  All couples of child-bearing age are required to attend and participate in either God's Plan for a Thriving Marriage or Thrive! programs. This seminar covers teachings on the sacramental character of marriage and the sacredness of human sexuality.

God's Plan for a Thriving Marriage is designed to offer a sincere proposal of the truth and beauty of Catholic teaching.  The program is based on the vision of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body, which we believe will revolutionize the way we understand ourselves, the vocation of marriage, and the call of God to be fruitful.

The purpose of the program is to meditate on God's plan for married life and to begin to shape our thinking and acting in accordance with it.  The God's Plan course is not only for Catholic couples, but also other Christian couples and all people of good will.  "Catholic" means universal.  In this program the Catholic teaching on married love is not imposed, but rather is proposed as an invitation to those who freely enter the sacrament of marriage.

The cost of this seminar is $50 per couple.
