Domestic Church Information Night
Couples are invited to take advantage of this simple, beautiful gift of formation, accountability, and true, organic growth in love and faith within their Sacrament, building and strengthening the foundations of the Domestic Church.
Domestic Church members will introduce you to this amazing family movement and will be available to answer questions about the Married Couple’s Retreat at a special Information Night on May 18th at 7pm in the Parish Hall. Please join us to learn more about attending the upcoming June retreat at St. James!
St. James Parish will be hosting a 2-Day Retreat for married couples on Saturday, June 10th (9:00am-8pm) and Sunday, June 11th (12:30-5pm). This retreat is first and foremost a chance to encounter Christ together as a married couple and to enrich your spiritual life together. It is also an introduction to the Domestic Church movement which provides ongoing support and formation for married couples. The opportunity to participate in this ongoing formation at our parish will be discussed during the retreat.
This has been such a great benefit to our marriage in the last 5 years since we began to meet in a Circle group and grow in our practice of the 7 Commitments. We have grown in our prayer life together, learned how to communicate better, and are closer to each other than ever before. COST:
$75 per couple* -includes morning snacks, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. Scholarship funding is available. NO couple will be turned away due to financial need.
